Learn to verify the access keys before you get the server
firmware fixes by using the Linux command line.
You must have AIX® diagnostics
installed on your server to perform this task.
- To view existing
levels of server firmware for Linux operating
system, you must have the following service tools installed on your
server:
- Platform Enablement Library – librtas-xxxxx.rpm
- Service Aids – ppc64-utils-xxxxx.rpm
- Hardware Inventory – lsvpd-xxxxx.rpm
where xxxxx represents a specific version
of the RPM file. Note: If you do not have the service
tools on your server, see Obtaining service and productivity tools
for Linux.
- After the service tools are installed on the server that
is running Linux,
enter the following at a Linux command
line:
lscfg -p
- Scroll through the information that is displayed to view
the access key information.
